On September 21st, 2025, we had the chance to see three great bands at Turku’s Nirvana club once again: DET, BEATRIX, and ABIGAIL.
The first band of the night was DET, which stands for Destructive Elite Terror. The group from Helsinki opened the evening with a fast-paced, energetic set full of solos and complex riffs.
The second band of the night was BEATRIX, a blackened thrash metal band from Tampere. At the very beginning of their performance, the vocalist announced that there would be no slow songs in their set and kept his word. They energized the audience perfectly right in time for the headliner of the night, the Japanese black metallers from ABIGAIL.
ABIGAIL has over 30 years of stage experience, which showed in their very long and very technical set. They played songs from all over their impressive discography and left the audience chanting for more. Check our photo gallery of the evening below…
