A hefty dose of death and thrash is here — Brutal Assault promoters are bringing you 12 bands oscillating between technical precision, sheer intensity, and raw brutality. Last year, Grave delivered one of the best death-metal performances we’ve ever seen in their original lineup, so they simply had to be booked again. The legends Monstrosity will play a very special set made up solely of tracks from Imperial Doom and Millennium. Australian thrash will be represented by underground cult heroes Mortal Sin, Demolition Hammer will make a major comeback after a long hiatus and Left to Die will bring the very best from Death’s early era. Slam crew PeelingFlesh will make their Fortress debut, and it will also be their only European festival appearance of the summer.
