On April 4th, 2024, SONATA ARCTICA returned to Turku’s Logomo club once again, but this time the occasion was more special than usual. In the last few months, they embarked on a tour around Finland to promote their newest album release, “Clear Cold Beyond.” The band took melodic hard rock outfit TEMPLE BALLS along with them to support them during their tour.
One would think – hmm, didn’t SONATA ARCTICA release a new album recently? But the reality is that their latest release “Talviyo” turned 5 this year and it’s just that time flies faster than we’re ready to admit. “Clear Cold Beyond” is a powerful album, full of the classic SONATA ARCTICA sound – their signature riffs and powerful, clean vocals of Tony Kakko.
The concert began with a few songs from their latest effort, but a SONATA ARCTICA concert wouldn’t be complete without the classics such as “Don’t Say a Word,” “FullMoon,” or “I Have A Right” that made the whole audience sing along.
