SaariHelvetti 2025 brought two days of blazing riffs, growling vocals, and wild performances to the idyllic Viikinsaari Island in Tampere. On August 1st and 2nd, 2025, metal fans ferried across the water for a fierce lineup featuring heavyweights like Stam1na, Insomnium, and Swallow the Sun, alongside burlesque, belly dance, and even “Speed Dating in Hell.” This year’s festival proved once again that paradise and pandemonium can share the same stage.
The second day kept the island shaking with a fierce mix of metal, melody, and pure showmanship. Crowds were treated to KHROMA, Erja Lyytinen, SHEREIGN, BLOODRED HOURGLASS, KING SATAN, GAEREA, FEAR OF DOMINATION, HUORA, …AND OCEANS, and INSOMNIUM — a grand finale that left Viikinsaari echoing with riffs long after the last ferry departed.
