March 8th marks International Women’s Day every year: a day to celebrate the achievements of women and raise awareness about gender equality. Apart from being the number 1 country in heavy metal music, Finland is in the top 10 for gender-equal countries globally. We invited Bini Silvennoinen (BLAME ME!), Sanna Sola (FIREPROVEN), and Netta Laurenne (SMACKBOUND) to chat about gender equality in the metal scene.
