Finnish melodic death metal unit WOLFHEART have announced guitarist Vageliss Karzis as their new official member and lead guitarist. Karzis has played in many projects, including the Greek extreme metal veterans ROTTING CHRIST.
Lead singer and mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen comments:
“After departure of Mika, the bar was set as high as possible and we faced a real challenge to replace him. To top one of the most grand Nordic warriors we turned to a different breed of soldiers and only a true Spartan beast was a man enough! Already played dozens of gigs with Vageliss and now we welcome him to be part of the pack!”
Vageliss himself has this to say of joining WOLFHEART:
“It is a great honor to be part of this northern viking spirit band with these amazing musicians and we are ready to conquer every field we will step on”
WOLFHEART will release their brand new album “Wolves of Karelia” on April 10, 2020 via Napalm Records.
