Vended is a newer project, five-piece from Des Moines, Iowa who daringly state they will take over the world with their groove/alt metal. If that name rings a bell, you are most correct to associate them with Slipknot. In fact, two of the band members, Griffin Taylor and Simon Crahan are sons Corey and Shawn from Slipknot. So they surely know how to take over the world following their dads’ example.
Kittie is a Canadian lady fourpiece that catapulted into stardom pretty much from their debut album, “Spit” in 1999. It was pure young rage encapsulated in musical form which made them fit in the nu metal crowd perfectly. Women didn’t rest on the laurels and pushed further, gaining the prominence in the rock scene that they rightfully deserve.
ILL NIÑO didn’t manage to perform on previous Brutal Assault in 2025 so promoters gave them another chance in 2026. The band manages to blend nu metal with Latin music elements. Explosive mixture soared them into fame really quickly so you best expect some thick and tasty guitar riffs and plenty of heabang-worthy grooves straight from the early 2000s!
An amalgam of chaos incarnate, Australian Kim Dracula was brought to life in 2020 and their meteoric rise to fame is as insane as their tracks. Madness started with their cover of “Paparazzi” by Lady Gaga which went completely viral and now Kim has a debut album under their belt and a bunch of dates booked. Lots of things can happen within a single song of theirs – metal clashes with industrial music which bumps into jazz to then grab a beer with trap and then have a smoke with Latin music. Anyone who can make this madness work is a noteworthy persona.
Djerv was a really big sensation back in the early 2010s. They were raised to stardom almost instantly, released their self-titled debut LP and were on everyone’s mouths for a couple of years. No wonder – their black n roll music was insanely good – gritty, catchy and packed a punch. In combination with unmistakable Agnete Kjølsrud whose stage presence and vocals raised the whole band into the stratosphere. Then they slightly fell off the radar for almost a decade. Now things are happening in camp Djerv so brace yourselves!
