Tuska festival, taking place at Suvilahti in Helsinki from June 30th to July 2nd, has announced the first bands of its 2023 line up. The biggest name on the lineup is the wonderfully mystical VV (Ville Valo) of ex-HIM fame. VV‘s debut album “Neon Noir” will be released in early 2023 and the first single of the record, “Loveletting,” set the bar high, combining his trademark vulnerability with HIM-esque guitar charge and ’80s aesthetics.
Other confirmed acts for the 2023 edition are Ukrainian JINJER whose intense performance at Tuska 2022 left everyone speechless, American deathcore greatness LORNA SHORE, always on command MOKOMA, UK metalcore squad WHILE SHE SLEEPS, twisted Finnish party metal crew TURMION KÄTILÖT, iconic buttress of Finnish metal scene DIABLO, Denver based psychedelic and technical death metal wizards BLOOD INCANTATION and Swedish melodic death metal force ORBIT CULTURE.
