Aurora‘s concert in Bergen on March 7th, 2024, marked the first of three shows in the city of seven mountains, and it was nothing short of mesmerizing. Held at USF Verftet, located in an old shipyard, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation as fans eagerly awaited Aurora‘s presence on stage. The evening started with a short performance by Amalie Holt Kleive, who performed, among others, the newest single “Når du våkner” and the well-known “Karen A.”
After a short break, it was time for Aurora. The concert kicked off with an air of mystery, as the stage was bathed in the dim light of a large sun-shaped lighting fixture at the back of the stage, setting the mood for an ethereal experience. As the first notes of “River Intro,” followed by “The River,” filled the room, Aurora emerged, captivating the audience with her haunting vocals.
Following the newest tracks “Your Blood” and “The Conflict of The Mind,” Aurora treated the audience to a powerful rendition of “Exist For Love” that resonated deeply with attendees. Throughout the evening, Aurora showcased her versatility as an artist, seamlessly transitioning between her anthems and soul-stirring ballads. With a setlist featuring a total of 17 songs, including hits like “Runaway,” she captivated the audience from start to finish.
What truly set Aurora‘s performance apart was her ability to connect with her audience on a profound level. Between songs, she shared heartfelt anecdotes and messages of empowerment, both in Norwegian and English, fostering a sense of unity and acceptance among concert-goers. Aurora‘s concerts in Bergen attracted not only locals but also fans from abroad, including Italy.
As the concert drew to a close, the audience erupted into applause. For the finale, Aurora performed “Cure for Me” and “Daydreamer,” delivering an unforgettable conclusion that left everyone in awe. Aurora‘s concert in Bergen was a spellbinding journey through music and emotion. With her celestial vocals and magnetic stage presence, she transported the audience to a realm of pure magic.
