On June 22nd, 2026, the alternative rock band DOGSTAR made a stop in Hamburg at Grosse Freiheit 36. The reunited trio, featuring Bret Domrose, Robert Mailhouse, and Keanu Reeves, brought a lot of energy and caused a massive line outside the venue long before the show even started.
The evening kicked off with German local SCHIMMERLING. They prepared the crowd for the headliner with a really cool mix of German indie-pop and rock.
If you take three friends playing music together in a garage, you get DOGSTAR. In a world full of heavily choreographed shows and non-stop pyrotechnics, DOGSTAR brings a refreshing, laid-back performance with good music and a great vibe. You can really tell that these are just three friends who love playing music together. They are great at what they do, and we definitely hope to see more of them in the future!
