On December 21st, 2025, the progressive rock quintet DOOL from the Netherlands celebrated a decade of their music at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht. The band announced they would make this evening special by inviting many other artists to celebrate their anniversary and make a big festival-like party out of it. The entire location hosted a themed festival where food, art, merch, and artists and the crowd came together to celebrate the unique sound of DOOL.
As the time got closer for the headliner to enter the stage, the main hall of TivoliVredenburg kept filling up to the point where it was hard to move around the crowd. DOOL entered the stage to deliver a well-balanced mix of all three of their albums released during the last decade, making it clear that their style hasn’t changed since their first album, “Here Now, There Then,” but it certainly has evolved in the best of ways.
