Finnish Thrash/Death Metal act HAUTAJAISYÖ (“Funeral Night”) will release their newest single “Ennen Kuolemaa” (“Before Death”) today. Hailing from the small town of Iisalmi, the band has been bringing death and melancholy upon us since 2014.
This new single is a perfect teaser for the upcoming third album, which will be even heavier and more brutal than earlier work. “Ennen Kuolemaa” takes your mind to the depths of darkness, to that moment where all you can do is accept your fate and welcome death with open arms, like an old friend. The despair drips from this track, with its grinding, aggressive riffs and pounding blast beats. With depression and anxiety as main themes, HAUTAJAISYÖ‘s newest record is not for the faint of heart.
