The first time I encountered the band BLOCK BUSTER was when they were opening up for SANTA CRUZ at Tavastia a couple of years back. I remembered the band as a groovy modern hard rock band and was looking forward to when the band would finally be ready to unleash their catchy songs to the world. The band is now finally ready to release their debut album “Losing Gravity” on 13 September 2019, and have already released a couple of singles among which “Out In The City”.
The song is the catchy evidence that I was right about that this is a band that needs to be heard. The modern sound makes them stand out quite a lot from any other hard rock act in the Finnish scene. “Out In The City” has a couple of bad-ass riffs, a great solo and outstanding an outstanding vocal performance. Moreover, it’s the kind of song that you’d want to blast out through the speakers of your car while driving to the nearest beach on a hot summer day. Watch the music video here:
