2022 IN MUSIC: H.E.A.T.

Now that 2022 is coming to a close, it’s good to look back at what this year has looked like. We invited a few artists to talk about how 2022 has been for them and what the future holds. This time we looked back to 2022 with Swedish hard rock group, H.E.A.T. Check out the interview here…

What musical goals did you set for 2022? Did you achieve them?

We wanted to re-launch the band for real with Kenny at the front. And we’ve done plenty of shows and toured the globe so I must say, I’m very pleased with the year.

Were you able to dedicate as much of 2022 to your project/band as you had hoped?

Absolutely!

What were some of the highlights you realized in 2022?

First European run in 4 years was way overdue. And awesome to break new ground in Australia.

Is there anything you learned during 2022?

Being onstage is more fun than ever!

Have you (re-)discovered any new music during 2022?

To be fair, not much, which I think is a bit sad. But working full-time as a musician, sometimes consuming new music when you’re making you’re own all the time is hard. But also so important, so will definitely make more time for that in the future. If I have to mention one band, I’d say CAIN’S OFFERING. Not new, but fuckin’ great.

What can we expect from you in 2023?

We will keep on touring and for the later parts we’ll definitely start writing new material and possibly enter the studio.
