Tuska will be celebrated at Suvilahti, Helsinki on 30th June – 2nd July and the demand for tickets has been at a record-high. The three-day metal festival’s Saturday tickets and all VIP ticket categories have been sold out early May which is faster than earlier years. Currently there are two- and three-day tickets as well as Friday and Sunday tickets still on sale.
“People have clearly been missing Tuska’s atmosphere. Last summer we reached our record of 49 000 visitors during the weekend and this year the demand for festival tickets has been even brisker. With this pace we’ll be breaking records this summer too,” says Tuska’s Festival Director Eeka Mäkynen.
Showtimes announced, changes in the lineup
Tuska showtimes have been announced today and can be found on the website. There have also been some changes in the festival line-up. The New York -based death metal pioneer SUFFOCATION has been forced to cancel their European tour due to physical injuries and the Canadian band SPIRITBOX has cancelled their Tuska show by appealing to logistical reasons.
The replacing bands are confirmed to be the London-based metal machine URNE and the Dutch star of melodic metal DELAIN.
