How to sum up 2020? This year had its very own challenges for each of us and was definitely different than we all expected. Musically speaking, I have mixed feelings while looking back: the cancellation of the festival season and thousands of concerts hit the whole scene hard. Caused by this, live streams became popular and offered new opportunities for bands and fans. On the other side, 2020 was great thanks to the incredible number of high-quality albums in an outstanding variety. While some of my highly anticipated releases couldn’t fully convince me, I discovered many new gems that found their way into my heart and became part of my very special soundtrack this year.
