With the recent sold-out Black Box show in Helsinki Ice Hall under their belt, Amon Amarth is making a triumphant return to Finland appearing on Tuska’s Friday bill. Other opening day additions are Eluveitie, Lost Society, Deafheaven, Mørket, Khroma, and Oceanhoarse.
Saturday’s program has been strengthened by local heroes Mokoma, Norway’s Gaahls Wyrd and Finnish up-and-comers Lähiöbotox, Kohti Tuhoa, and Vorna.
The master of progressive metal, Devin Townsend, will play a special “By Request” show on Tuska Sunday. Townsend’s fans are invited to vote for their favorite tracks from a pre-selected list, and the most voted songs will be heard live in Suvilahti. Cast your votes here. The progressive-aggressive Humavoid has also been added to the Sunday bill. More artists will be announced over the course of spring.
Previously announced Tuska 2020 bands: Korn, Gojira, Faith No More, Deftones, Baroness, Symphony X, Insomnium, Jinjer, Vltimas, High On Fire, Perturbator, Midnight, Oranssi Pazuzu, Hacktivist, and Skynd.
