Saimaa Sounds has always been a staple in the dance music/EDM sector in Finland’s Mikkeli. This year – for the first time – the organization hosted Saimaa Sounds Goes Metal, which included performances from RUOSKA, BLOODRED HOURGLASS, and MOKOMA. The event took place where Saimaa Sounds always does… at Mikkelipuisto (close to the city center of Mikkeli), and despite the bad weather, there was a good turnout of fans who came to enjoy the music. Due to BLOODRED HOURGLASS playing a hometown show for the first time in a while, it looked as if most of the audience had come for them, boasting their BRHG merch proudly.
