Alternative rockers RADIOPUHELIMET and garage rockers THE FLAMING SIDEBURNS teamed up on July 24th, 2021, to play at Logomo in Turku. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, their recent shows have taken place on their terrace, which allowed them to pull in a nice and enthusiastic crowd to the open-air stage. Though the space was technically seated, it was still okay for fans to get up and dance, without feeling too cramped during a pandemic. Both bands are classics in the local scene from the ’80s and ’90s respectively, so fans heard a lot of long-term hits, though RADIOPUHELIMET included at least three new songs in their set. Overall, it was a bombastic and energetic evening.
