July 20th, 2021, marked a unique event in Turku. During the COVID-19 pandemic, three of Finland’s legendary artists, Michael Monroe, Sami Yaffa, and Linde Lindström visited Logomo in Turku to play an acoustic set. Known mainly from bands like HANOI ROCKS and HIM, among others, these three artists came together to perform some classic hits together in the evening light beneath the outdoor stage. Naturally, Monroe was the real showman, doing splits and moving all about the stage, never staying still for a moment. With live shows in short supply, events like this have brought a bit of life and light to the musical world.
