Nummirock is a renowned metal festival held annually in Finland, drawing metalheads from all over the world to experience a weekend of headbanging, mosh pits, and unforgettable performances while celebrating the Finnish midsummer madness called Juhannus. The festival, set against the picturesque backdrop of Nummijärvi, Kauhajoki, offers a lineup of top-tier metal bands spanning various subgenres, making it a must-attend event for any metal enthusiast.
This year’s festival took place from June 19th to June 22nd, 2024, and with a lineup consisting of legendary veterans such as BODY COUNT and KERRY KING, go-to names of folk metal ELUVEITIE and ENSIFERUM, and the festival’s domestic veteran bands like FEAR OF DOMINATION, RYTMIHÄIRIÖ, and HUORA, among others, we of course went to check it out.
