Legendary Finnish metal festival Nummirock celebrated a major milestone in 2026, marking its 40th anniversary with four days of music, camping, and Midsummer celebrations by Lake Nummijärvi. Blessed with perfect festival weather, the anniversary edition brought together 18,000 metalheads to witness a diverse lineup ranging from international heavyweights such as BLACK VEIL BRIDES, SATYRICON, GLORYHAMMER, and BATTLE BEAST to Finnish favourites including MOONSHORROW, ELÄKELÄISET, and BOYCOTT. With its unique camping culture, colourful festival crowd, and unmistakable Midsummer atmosphere once again at the heart of the experience, Nummirock proved why it remains one of Finland’s most beloved metal traditions.
