On Friday night, March 15th, 2024, a trio of promising Finnish metal bands played a show at Nirvana in Turku: BLOODREDNAILS, PROGENY OF SUN, and the winners of the Come To Latin America competition, WHERE’S MY BIBLE.
We had the opportunity to listen to BLOODREDNAILS, a relatively newly formed metalcore band from Turku. The band exuded great energy on stage and quickly had the crowd swaying and vibing with their music.
Following their set, we delved into heavier realms with a performance by the blackened death metal band PROGENY OF SUN, whose debut album “Throne of Desolation” was released just last December. By that time, the crowd had thickened, and the club was filled with PROGENY OF SUN‘s most devoted fans, who seemed to know every word to every song.
With spirits soaring high, we eagerly awaited the performance of the headliner of the evening, WHERE’S MY BIBLE, hailing from Heinola. They took us on an intense journey filled with captivating riffs and elements of folk rituals.
