Christmas was approaching, but there was still plenty of time to rock on Friday, December 15th, 2023, as the doors to Kuudes Linja opened for a sweaty night of intensive garage rock/punk. The undeniable headliner of the night was THE TOXICS, who celebrated their 10th anniversary with this mid-December show. Of the two warm-up acts, KISS DISEASE has been making a name for themselves with their energetic shows, and ACID RUNS, a rarely seen live act, was touted for their MOTÖRHEAD-vibes.
The night unfolded as one might expect: a hot and intensive night of playing and partying with a rising intensity. The evening started with the hard-driving and rough tunes of ACID RUNS, keeping the audience mostly standing and listening, followed by the more boogieing show of KISS DISEASE, which had the audience trying their feet on some moves. Finally, the main act, THE TOXICS, made the crowd truly party.
The three bands created a very enjoyable evening with slightly different approaches to the main thing: the sweet, sweaty taste of hard-driving rock ‘n’ roll. Check out our photos below…
