At Tavastia on November 14th, 2023, Canadian heavy metal act DANKO JONES tore up the stage, bringing their European tour to Finland soon after a private gig in September.
The night kicked off with Finnish heavy metal band DIRT. The crowd wasn’t maxed out yet, but the band had a great turnout for an opening band anyway and more importantly, they got folks moving, especially those sporting DIRT merch. With tunes like “Low Life,” “Real World,” and “God Has Cut You Down,” DIRT set the tone with a solid, heavy performance.
DANKO JONES, promoting their new album “Electric Sounds,” dished out a setlist of 20+ tracks covering their whole career. They made sure fans got their money’s worth, with Danko himself cracking jokes and interacting with the crowd. Drummer Rich Knox and bass player JC Calabrese matched the vibe, playing with infectious energy. The gig was a blend of humor, intense music, and a real connection with the fans.
