Finnish melodic and progressive metal band NOTIO are set to release their second album studio album, “Worldview,” on March 8th, 2024. The first single taken from the album, “Solipsism,” was released today via Inverse Records.

Albert Olli comments: “This is the first song I wrote for this album, so it had the honor to be the first single as well. This song basically kickstarts the album and it has all the main elements of a Notio song: catchy melodies, strong drums, and wide vocal range. Lyrically, this song is about how different stimuli from the external world shape the person’s perception of the world, hence the album’s name, ‘Worldview.’“
BIOGRAPHY
NOTIO is a solo project founded by Albert Olli in the small town of Heinola, Finland. The music combines elements of melodic metal and alternative metal mixed with progressive song structures, creating an unique listening experience.
NOTIO‘s first release, “The Real Reason” EP, was published January 11th, 2016. The next release from the project, “Alive Again” was published on April 21st, 2017, and received good reviews in the Finnish music media.
The ambitious debut album, “Lucid Dreams For Sale,” was released on May 31st, 2019. “Lucid Dreams For Sale” is a concept album and its story revolves around a dystopian society in which freedom and human dignity can only be achieved through personal success. The debut album was broadly recognized in Finnish music media.
The highly anticipated second album is set to be released in 2024. The album will be published by Inverse Records.
