Finnish melancholic death metal 5-piece DEAD SERENITY have released their debut album, “When Worlds Turn to Gray.” Regarding their music, the band focuses on strong melodies. For lyrics, they let the full scale of human emotions and behavior carry the music from one atmosphere to another – from sensibility to ecstasy and from distress to aggression.
”The album continues on the path we embarked on with our EP three years ago. In the years between, the world seems to have turned increasingly bleak, which can be heard in the lyrics as well as the soundscapes of the album. When ‘Worlds Turn To Gray’ serves as a perfect accompaniment to the darkening autumn evenings when light slowly fades away,” the band describes.
The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered by DEAD SERENITY‘s guitarist and main composer, Toni Lind. Graphics and lyric videos were created by Jonas Eriksson.
