Yesterday, critically-acclaimed alt band ATLAS GENIUS release their new track “Elegant Strangers,” the group’s first official offering in over 3 years and also their first since signing to Better Noise Music. The track is a natural progression to ATLAS GENIUS’ signature sound, which saw immediate success with their 2011 breakthrough hit “Trojans.” “Elegant Strangers” was a collaborative writing effort from the band’s singer Keith Jeffrey, acclaimed producer Ben H. Allen (ANNIMAL COLLECTIVE, WASHED OUT, BOMBAY BICICYLE CLUMB) and THE BRAVERY’s singer/songwriter Sam Endicott. The song is available to stream and download across digital platforms HERE.

In a collective statement, the band said, “This is a song about finding the escape door. A person finally seeing the beauty and optimism they’ve always wanted in life, and never wanting this moment to end.”

Over the last 10 years, ATLAS GENIUS have proven that their knack for creating catchy-yet-meaningful songs was no fluke. They have amassed nearly 300 million streams to date, played sold-out arena tour line-ups (with the likes of IMAGINEDRAGONS, WEEZER, SILVERSUN PICKUPS, PANIC! AT THE DISCO, PASSION PIT, THE NEIGHBOURHOOD, and others), and have been invited to perform on national shows such as The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. Now, the group – consisting of three brothers: singer-guitarist Keith Jeffery, drummer Michael Jeffery, synth/keys player Steven Jeffery; and longtime friend guitarist  Dave Green – is back with a sense of artistic self that is stronger than ever.

After the release of their critically acclaimed 2015 studio album “Inanimate Objects,” the band tried to follow it up with what was expected. “A lot of life happened over even the past five years in California,” says Keith, who produces all ATLAS GENIUS songs. “There’s always somewhere to go, always some distraction there. When we started a band, we had no idea what we were doing. That was part of our strength. But then in L.A., you become far too aware of how everything is done. You see behind the curtain of the industry.” So ATLAS GENIUS relocated to Australia to mute everything around them, except the music percolating inside their heads. Going back to their roots in the studio they built with their father, the result is a complex and refreshing new album, of which “Elegant Strangers” gives the first taste. The band plans to continue teasing the album throughout 2021.

The group has just been announced as part of the star-packed line-ups for both 2021’s Firefly and Bottlerock Festivals.  For more information on tickets, visit:  https://atlasgenius.com/
