Finnish cinemascope metallers Crimfall will release their new album “Amain” on August 25th via Metal Blade Records. Crimfall have now released the first video clip and single of the new album “Until Falls the Rain”

The band states: “Before we unleash the third storm that is ‘Amain’ we present you our very first music video. ‘Until Falls The Rain’ is the crushing conclusion for the album, last simmering truths are laid low, throats bared against the unforgiving fall. It was a long day of drowning under homemade sprinklers, shooing away fire brigades and mopping away thousand lakes of water. In the end we are more than satisfied with the forlorn end result.

The video was directed by Olli Häkkinen and shot by Max Smeds.

Interview with Santa Cruz – “You have to set your goals as high that even if you get only half way, you get pretty far. Never settle for less.”

Around here Santa Cruz, the four-piece rock and roll band from Helsinki, for sure doesn’t need any introduction anymore. After releasing their debut album Screaming for Adrenaline in 2013, the road has been a very interesting one for the band. Now 4 years later, they’re about to release their third studio album in September.

We had the chance to talk to Johnny and Middy after their show in RockFest at Vantaa, to see what’s up, we had a talk about their new single, the upcoming album, consumption of alcoholic beverages and yes, hair.

Review: Red Moon Architect – Return of the Black Butterflies

The town of Kouvola is often referred to as the “largest lighted cemetery” in Finland. Finland, which also happens to be seen as cold and where coldheartedness rules over people. While keeping in mind these stereotypes it seems like it’s the perfect ground for funeral doom metal bands. The Finnish funeral doom metal band Red Moon Architect is one of those bands who came from there. The band released their third album “Return of the Black Butterflies” in May. The name of the album subtly refers to one of the tracks on their debut album called “Black Butterflies”.
