Roadburn has announce the side programme for this year’s edition, closing in in just about two weeks. Here is the official statement from the organizers:
“This year’s side programme features deep dive conversations with Steve Von Till, Thou and Cave In – face to face opportunities to get beneath the surface of their history, artistry, motivations and future plans.
We’ll also host a panel discussion that tackles navigating the ever-changing online environment whilst keeping creativity and authenticity at the heart of all things. Hosted by Shannon Void, the discussion will feature Denisa, Michael Berdan (Uniform), Marika Zorzi (The Flenser) and Melanie Schmidt (Century Media).
Broeder Dieleman will host a special evening of folk tales reimagined; join him for an unforgettable trip through Zeelandic Flanders.
Steve Von Till and Thomas Hooper will add further context to their collaborative exhibition at the NS16, featuring improvised music and a poetry reading, Resonant Horizons will come alive.
And of course, Sunday at Roadburn wouldn’t be complete with a Q&A with artistic director Walter Hoeijmakers – join him to ask all your Roadburn-related questions and find out what goes on behind the scenes to bring Roadburn to life.“
