Finnish action rock outfit, THE EMPIRE STRIKES, are kicking off the new year with their latest album, “Motell Scandinavia,” set for release on January 19th, 2024. Before the album launch, the band is treating fans to a new single, “Children of the Sun,” this Friday, providing a preview of the upcoming album. “Children of the Sun” screams summer country and American iron, inviting listeners to cruise carefree along a city boulevard or the edge of a field.
Commenting on the music video, the band stated, “Here we are giving the keys to how rock and roll is also made to be enjoyed. In a car. Blasting. So loud that the windows have to be lowered in order for the sound pressure and good mood to be shared with fellow travelers as well. Not the destination, but the journey.”
In addition to the summer vibes and the laid-back herd heading to the dance floor, “The Children of The Sun” film adaptation offers an opportunity to sing along on the way wherever you find yourself going.
