“Spell of Silence” was inspired by Benjamín’s time living in Riga, particularly long nocturnal walks around the city’s tranquil “Quiet district,” renowned for its dream-like art nouveau architecture. The song serves as a heartfelt tribute to the city that left a lasting impact on him. This track is also special since it features a powerful collaboration between vocalists Marius Danielsen joining Caro for the first time, bringing a rich, theatrical dynamic to the song. The track also includes a standout instrumental section, featuring a guest keyboard solo by Joaquín Baranzano, a longtime friend of the band, whose contribution complements the song’s power metal roots, making “Spell of Silence” a memorable and immersive experience.
