Finnish metal band KIUAS have announced their upcoming EP release titled “Samooja: Pyhiinvaellus.” The recordings for the EP are currently underway, with mixing handled by Nino Laurenne at Sonic Pump Studios.
The EP is set to be released on March 1st, 2024, on streaming platforms, followed by a limited vinyl edition later in the spring. KIUAS will kick off a Finnish tour in March, covering seven cities. The shows will feature new material from the EP along with an updated setlist.
Known for their musical versatility and strong themes, KIUAS promises that this new EP will not disappoint. It combines heavy riffs, catchy melodies, and profound storytelling into a unique musical experience. “This EP is in many ways a monumental milestone, as it marks the debut release of the reunited original Kiuas band in the new era, and also the band’s first conceptual album, introducing listeners to the epic saga of Samooja,” shares composer-guitarist Mikko Salovaara excitedly.
Further details about the EP release date and pre-orders will be announced soon. Stay tuned to KIUAS‘ social media channels and website for updates on this highly anticipated release. The first four albums of KIUAS are available for pre-order for the first time as limited vinyl editions.
