A new Route Resurrection Fest event arrived in the capital of Spain with a luxury modern metal lineup formed by FAR’N’HATE, VUKOVI, and the Catalans ANKOR on March 9th, 2024, at Changó.
The concert began with the ferocity of the band from Girona: FAR’N’HATE. The show was short but intense, with a great performance by frontman Marc Camargo. The crowd went crazy when the Scots VUKOVI took the stage. The band, led by Janine Shilstone, is much loved in Spain after their tremendous performance at Resurrection Fest 2023. They played songs like “Creep Heat,” “Lasso,” and the incredible “I Exist,” unleashing insanity amidst mosh pits and headbanging. We hope to see them soon in Spain as headliners.
And finally… ANKOR. The opening of Dragon Ball Z, a very nice tribute to the recently deceased Akira Toriyama, started to play on the speakers of the Changó venue. For more than an hour, they played songs from all their discography like “From Marbles to Cocaine,” “Shhh…(I’m Not Gonna Lose It),” and “Hill Valley.”
It was a wonderful night for modern metal lovers, thanks to Resurrection Fest for bringing bands of unconventional metal styles to Spain. Check our photo gallery of the evening here…
