On March 7th, 2024, three melodic death metal bands arrived in Turku to entertain the local metal enthusiasts with some quality live music. The evening started with the performance of the band VARJOLA, which plays heavier rock with a bit of a vintage vibe.
The second band of the night was INNERSPHERE, who came all the way from the Czech Republic to promote their new album “In the Shadow of the Sun,” released just a week before, and played many songs from the album live at the gig. The performance was very enjoyable, offering a healthy dose of well-thought-out melodic death metal with clever riffs and compositions.
Finally, to crown the evening, AS THE SUN FALLS took to the stage. They delivered a very pleasant set consisting of both their older and newer material.
