Moldovan modern metal frontrunners INFECTED RAIN recently kicked off an extensive European tour with a sold-out stop in Tampere and a mandatory set in Helsinki. We decided to go check out their show at On the Rocks on June 4th, 2023, which was also the first time we would be able to see the new lineup – featuring their new bassist Alice Lane – in action!
The show itself was an energetic feast of modern metal in a fully packed On the Rocks, with circle pits in the limited area; thus, a good and infectious atmosphere was present. The setlist was dynamic and it was extremely fun to be able to hear new songs like “Dying Light” live. We were delighted to see that the chemistry, despite the lineup change, was still very much present. The band still have a few weeks of touring left, so definitely go check them out when they hit your town!
