On January 29th, 2025, we had a chance to see folk metal outfit ELUVEITIE perform at Turku’s Logomo, supported by AD INFINITUM and INFECTED RAIN.

AD INFINITUM delivered a truly powerful performance that solidified their growing reputation as one of the most exciting acts in modern metal. Frontwoman Melissa Bonny was the undeniable star of the show, her voice effortlessly shifting between thunderous growls and soaring clean vocals, captivating the audience with every note.

The second band of the night, INFECTED RAIN, stormed the stage at Logomo’s Teatro with a performance that was nothing short of electrifying. Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands commanded the stage with her fierce vocals, seamlessly blending raw aggression with melodic depth, while the band’s fusion of nu-metal, metalcore, and alternative metal created a sound that was both heavy and irresistibly dynamic.

Finally, ELUVEITIE took to the stage, delivering a performance that solidified their place as legends of the folk metal genre. With a new album coming very soon, the Swiss ensemble went out on a European tour proving once again why they are a force to be reckoned with. The setlist was a masterclass in pacing and variety, kicking off with the thunderous “Helvetios” and “Ategnatos” to immediately ignite the crowd. Tracks like “Tarvos” and “The Prodigal Ones” kept the energy high, while “A Rose for Epona” and “The Call of the Mountains” showcased the band’s melodic depth and emotional range. Fabienne Erni, the band’s enchanting harpist and lead vocalist, was a standout presence, her voice soaring effortlessly above the heavy guitars and Chrigel’s growls. Check out our gallery below…
