On September 27th, AURI stopped to play in Vienna for the first time and brought us a lengthy bedtime story to an otherwise gloomy Saturday evening. In the intimate atmosphere of the Simm City hall, the audience got the chance to get completely immersed into the enchanting show that consisted of music from AURI’s newest album, “A Trail Of Candles & Beginnings,” and material from the previous two albums. The trio and the live session musicians (Kai Hahto, Johanna Iivanainen, and Mikko Iivanainen) seem to practice what they preach, as they radiated a certain kind of contentment, serenity, and lightness that has swiftly spread across the room.
