French stars RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR were back on tour in Spain after their performance at last year’s Resurrection Fest. They presented their new album, “Showdown,” accompanied by Madrid’s FALLEN AT DAWN at Changó on April 25th, 2024.
Changó venue started to fill up to see the metalcore band FALLEN AT DAWN, who gave a bestial show full of furious breakdowns and noisy “bleghs.” Charismatic frontman Jimmy Sixx put on an incredible performance, ending the show by throwing himself into the audience.
The most awaited moment of the night finally arrived in the packed room: RISE OF THE NORTHSTAR came on stage. For almost two hours, the French band played songs from their new album such as “Showdown,” “Crank It Up,” and the mythical anthem: “One Love.” There was also a place in the setlist for more old-school songs like “Bosozoku” or “Nekketsu.” The sound and the atmosphere were spectacular, another night of good music to remember thanks to Resurrection Fest.
