On October 24th, 2025, metal fans from Turku gathered in Teatro for another great night full of good Finnish metal. Both bands performing that night are currently on tour promoting their recently released albums. The mighty BEFORE THE DAWN released a brand new album, “Cold Flare Eternal” in September of this year, and their support, SUOTANA, are celebrating the August release of their fourth album, “Ounas II.”
The evening began in total darkness as the members of SUOTANA entered the stage, lighting their way with lanterns. This alone set a unique vibe for the entire concert, and after that, one was just watching and absorbing the performance with curiosity and engagement growing by the minute. Their set, although short, was a great celebration of their musical legacy and a perfect introduction for the main act of the day, BEFORE THE DAWN. They never fail to deliver a gripping, engaging performance full of riffs, growling, breakdowns, and heaviness.
