Late last year, LORNA SHORE released their fifth studio album, “I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me”, and shortly thereafter set off on a world tour. On February 22nd, 2026, the band arrived to Logomo club in Turku, accompanied by three supporting acts, HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH, SHADOW OF INTENT, and WHITECHAPEL.
The evening started early with the performance of HUMANITY’S LAST BREATH, who played a concise set with their most popular song, “Instill,” featuring the sound of a traditional Bulgarian choir as the final song of their performance. The next artist was SHADOW OF INTENT, an American deathcore band from Connecticut who, as they said, wanted to fit as many songs in their set as possible. They managed to play seven songs from their discography, mostly from their latest album, “Imperium Delirium.” The third band of the night was WHITECHAPEL, another deathcore band, this time hailing from Tennessee. Their set consisted of nine songs, mostly from their 2025 album “Hymns in Dissonance.”
Finally, after a short break, LORNA SHORE took to the stage, starting their set with three songs from their 2025 album, “Oblivion,” “Unbreakable,” and “War Machine,” accompanied by loud fireworks and explosive pyros. Before “War Machine,” the vocalist Will Ramos, conveniently wearing a TPS (Turku hockey team) jersey, announced that they would be filming a live music video for that song and would be delighted to feature the Finnish fans in it. Overall, the setlist consisted of songs mostly from their newest release “I Feel the Everblack Festering Within Me,” however, there couldn’t be a LORNA SHORE concert without such evergreens as “Sun//Eater,” all instalments of “Pain Remains,” or “To the Hellfire,” which they played as an encore. The entire evening was a true treat for any metal or metalcore fan.
