The annual Nummirock was ahead of us yet again, and it is already known to be one of the finest ways to celebrate Finnish midsummer holiday Juhannus! Nummirock is a long-running metal festival held by the lake in Nummijärvi, Kauhajoki. The 2025 edition took place from June 18th to 21st, bringing together metal fans from across the country and beyond for the midsummer madness that is Nummirock.
This year’s lineup featured international acts like MARDUK, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, ALESTORM, and DECAPITATED, while the domestic roster was larger than usual. Headliners included long-time festival favorites like MOKOMA, TURMION KÄTILÖT, and STRATOVARIUS, alongside first-timers such as RELAXTRIO and NOIDUIN. And true to tradition, the schedule also included some not-so-metal performances from acts like BUSINESS CITY and HEVISAURUS.
The final day of Nummirock included performances of HEVISAURUS, LÄHIÖBOTOX, CEMETERY SKYLINE, RELAXTRIO, MENTAL CRUELTY, ALESTORM, KORPIKLAANI, and TURMION KÄTILÖT. Check our photo gallery here…
