On August 20th, 2024, the American band THE DARTS visited Turku as part of their 2024 Boomerang Tour. They played at Nirvana club alongside THE HALOPHONES and DAZE DOLLS.
THE HALOPHONES are a rock and roll band from Helsinki, quickly gaining popularity in the local rock scene. They’re about to release their debut album later this year, so definitely keep an eye on them! After the rock and rollers from the capital, DAZE DOLLS took the stage. This local glam rock and roll band from Turku is well-established among Turku’s rock and roll fans.
Finally, as the club filled up, the headliners took to the stage. THE DARTS, a band that started as a casual project among friends, have over the years turned into a garage punk rock phenomenon. They have released three EPs, two singles, and five full-length albums—and they don’t plan on stopping anytime soon.
