On December 2nd, 2022, local punk act KLAMYDIA and Finnish legends POPEDA played a set together at Logomo in Turku. Before the doors to the event opened, they were expecting 2900 attendees to enjoy these bands.
By the time KLAMYDIA came onstage, the venue was heavily packed. In their hour-long set, they performed newer and older classics with a lot of energy. It’s always a pleasure – and a good time – to see these guys live.
POPEDA are legendary in Finland by this point, having formed already back in 1977. The band has recently been playing shows around the country, including headlining Rock in the City Kerava, with this being one of the last gigs in their tour. Notably from this show, at the end of the third track, KLAMYDIA‘s Vesku Jokinen came onstage to sing with the band. Overall, the evening was full of Finnish rock classics.
