Nummirock is a renowned metal festival held annually in Finland, drawing metalheads from all over the world to experience a weekend of headbanging, mosh pits, and unforgettable performances while celebrating the Finnish midsummer madness called Juhannus. The festival, set against the picturesque backdrop of Nummijärvi, Kauhajoki, offers a lineup of top-tier metal bands spanning various subgenres, making it a must-attend event for any metal enthusiast.
This year’s festival took place from June 19th to June 22nd, 2024, and with a lineup consisting of legendary veterans such as BODY COUNT and KERRY KING, go-to names of folk metal ELUVEITIE and ENSIFERUM, and the festival’s domestic veteran bands like FEAR OF DOMINATION, RYTMIHÄIRIÖ, and HUORA, among others, we of course went to check it out.
With the first day traditionally acting as a warm-up for the weekend, there were not too many bands performing, but we managed to capture the acts of artists like NUMMIROCK ENSEMBLE, SUOTANA, KAUNIS KUOLEMATON, and KALLOMÄKI. Check out our gallery below…
