The black metal vibe took over Oslo as the Inferno Festival kicked off from April 17th, 2025, to April 20th, 2025, bringing together the heaviest and darkest sounds in metal.
The third and, for us, the final day of Inferno Festival, due to an early flight, blended classic heavy metal roots with black and death metal veterans, offering one of the most varied lineups so far.
Opening at Rockefeller, COVEN brought a unique set full of ’60s/’70s occult rock and theatrical flair. Frontwoman Jinx Dawson delivered a dramatic performance, starting with her leaving the coffin, complete with ritual props and vintage stage energy.
Next at Rockefeller, Norwegian death metal legends CADAVER delivered a tight, brutal set, followed by a performance of ANGIST. After that, came the time for AURA NOIR with their trademark black and thrash metal sound. Fast, dirty, and raw, the trio tore through their set with minimal talk and maximum intensity, satisfying longtime fans.
The third day continued with ROTTING CHRIST, and the night was closed out by SATYRICON headlined at Rockefeller with their polished performance.
