On the evening of June 17th, 2024, the USF Verftet venue in Bergen hosted an electrifying performance by CHELSEA WOLFE, with support from the Icelandic trio KÆLAN MIKLA.
KÆLAN MIKLA opened the evening with their distinctive blend of post-punk and darkwave, setting the tone for what was to come. The trio captivated the audience with their ethereal and haunting performance. Their set included “Sólstöður” and “Hvítir Sandar,” both of which showcased their ability to create a dreamlike, otherworldly atmosphere. The swirling synths, hypnotic basslines, and haunting vocals drew the audience into their unique sonic landscape, creating a sense of anticipation for the main act.
CHELSEA WOLFE took the stage, performing a set that was a masterful blend of old and new, highlighting her evolution as an artist while staying true to the dark aesthetic that has become her signature. The setlist included a total of 17 songs, featuring “Dusk” and “Feral Love.” The driving rhythms and WOLFE‘s powerful vocals filled the space, showcasing her emotional depth in music.
