On October 16th, 2025, STRAY FROM THE PATH turned COLUMBIA THEATER into a pressure cooker of sweat, noise, and righteous anger. This was the last ever STRAY FROM THE PATH tour, celebrating their final album before calling it quits. No nostalgia bait, no soft landings. Berlin understood the assignment.
The night didn’t start exactly as planned. Because of technical difficulties, we could not cover CALVA LOUISE. GRAPHIC NATURE stepped in, and their set hit hard with “Headstone,” “White Noise,” and “Bad Blood.” Gritty, abrasive, and relentless, GRAPHIC NATURE set the tone for tonight’s pure chaos and pit violence. Nobody drifted off to the bar. That says something.
Next up were ALPHAWOLF, who delivered exactly what their reputation promises: pure sonic hostility with surgical precision. From “Ultra-Violet Violence” to “Akudama,” the set was a nonstop assault. “Pretty Boy” and “Sub-Zero” sent the pit into full chaos mode, while “Haunter” and “60cm of Steel” felt less like songs and more like controlled detonations. ALPHAWOLF doesn’t warm up crowds. They charge them to explode into oblivion.
When STRAY FROM THE PATH finally hit the stage, the atmosphere shifted. This was it, and everyone knew it. With “Kubrick Stare” and “III,” they reminded everyone that they hit harder than anyone else. The setlist was stacked with heavy hitters: “First World Problem Child,” “Goodnight Alt-Right,” and “Fuck Them All to Hell” landed with extra weight given the context. Nothing felt performative. The crowd surfing and mosh hit with the power of 5-level tsunami. Drew York really meant every word he sang, no holding back. The songs “Chest Candy,” “Guillotine,” and “Needful Things” really got the audience going, but “May You Live Forever” and “Fortune Teller” had this weird mix of being tough and feeling like the end. No speeches. No drawn-out goodbyes. Just spitting facts at full volume. This wasn’t a sentimental farewell. STRAY FROM THE PATH were authentic till the very end. And Berlin delivered.
