On October 16th, 2025, the walls of Huxley’s Neue Welt in Berlin pulsed with something almost sacred. The night belonged to EIVØR, the Faroese artist whose voice seems carved out of wind and water, joined by special guest ÁSGEIR and support act ELINBORG.

The evening opened with ELINBORG, Eivør’s younger sister, marking her first tour and the upcoming release of her debut album. There was a quiet sincerity to her presence, nervous smiles, soft lighting, and a voice that carried both fragility and strength. Songs like “Troyst” and “Kærleikin” floated gently through the room, while “Blóð” hinted at the darker depths of her songwriting. She might be at the beginning of her journey, but the connection she built with the audience was instant—like everyone sensed they were witnessing something about to bloom.

Then came ÁSGEIR, whose set was a dream in motion. His ability to merge Icelandic poetry with electro-acoustic warmth has a way of dissolving time. “Upp úr moldinni,” “Dreaming,” and “Ferris Wheel” drew the crowd into that hushed, introspective space where every chord feels like a memory resurfacing. When he reached “Dýrð í dauðaþögn,” the venue was silent—just his voice, the guitar, and that stillness that only true musicians can tell.

When EIVØR finally took the stage, she did so with a presence that felt elemental. Opening with “Jarðartrá” and “Salt,” she filled the room with storm and calmness equally. Her set wove through the ethereal “Gullspunnin,” the haunting “Í Tokuni,” and the cinematic “The Last Kingdom.” Every song hit like a wave—sometimes crashing, sometimes whispering against the shore. Halfway through the set came an unexpected highlight: EIVØR and ÁSGEIR performing “Us and Them” by PINK FLOYD, a collaboration so delicate it felt almost translucent. But the most touching moment arrived later, when ELINBORG returned to the stage for “Upp Úr Øskuni.” With voices united, the sisters stood shoulder to shoulder, representing the intertwined artistry rooted in shared Faroese ancestry and mutual pride. It was quiet, heartfelt, and the kind of moment you don’t forget. Closed with “Trøllabundin,” her signature spellbinding performance that left the audience breathless, before returning for an encore with “Falling Free.” Check our photo gallery here…
