On December 15th, 2023, I had the distinct pleasure of attending the final show of the year in Helsinki — a captivating hometown performance by AMORPHIS at Kulttuuritalo. Despite their recent appearance at John Smith Frozen, the anticipation and excitement were palpable as we eagerly welcomed the band once again. Departing from the norm, AMORPHIS opted for a performance without a support band, and the show commenced a little later at 20:30, a refreshing change for once. Undeterred by the heavy snowfall, we braved the wintry conditions to immerse in our final show of the year with a bunch of other AMORPHIS fans. With a diverse and dynamic setlist, it wasn’t a surprise we saw happy faces all around and even some people dancing to the band’s tunes. Check our photo gallery here…
